What a sight!

Remember, life change is a process that requires time, hard work and merciful inner messages. And for me, supportive people were imperative to reflect healthy kind of normal since at best my norm was extreme. Friends and God’s Word continue to help me exchange my old eyeglasses for the new lenses of a higher perspective that allows me to see God more clearly, myself more gently and other’s more lovingly.

Love this, Patsy! “new lenses…to see God more clearly, myself more gently, and others more lovingly.”

A lifelong process indeed. I like that…learning to see “myself more gently and other’s more lovingly”. I think I do a better job at loving others than I do at being gentle with myself. That’s hard for us women, isn’t it? Thanks for the perspective, Patsy.

Thanks Patsy! I believe so strongly ini every point you made! I have learned some of that kind of thinking even more clearly this last couple of years as I have worked my way through learning photography after many years of not toucing a camera much. It has made me look at life through a different lens and it has made me appreciative of God’s creation and beauty that He gives me daily, slow down, and enjoy each day! So I’m on the side lines of your post cheering you on!!!!

I love this post, Patsy! I feel like I’ve been going through a life change for years. Many times I have read God’s word and would see something in a whole new light. I would read the same scripture over and over and then one day I would see it through new lenses. I pray that God will continue to open my eyes to see more clearly. Thank you for sharing this! It’s a reminder that I need to keep pressing on. I want to see God, my family, friends, and myself through His lenses.

And by the way, I love your new glasses!!!

    Benita
