Morning Star, guide me through these daylight hours. Along my way, as I encounter people, may I do so with kindness. When I’m full of my plans, it’s easy to think only of what matters to me. Deliver me from self-absorption. Even when others are insensitive, may I respond with gentle strength.
Today is full of opportunity to do good and to speak light-bearing words. When the hours collect into evening, may I look back over my offering and sense Your pleasure. I want to follow You and delight You all the days of my life. Amen.
