King Jesus

King Jesus
King Jesus, reign over my indignation. I must confront an enemy today. Truth can be treacherous and feel lethal. It’s not my desire to inflict additional wounds but to walk in the light. Teach me to attack the problem and not the person.

You said, “There would be wars and rumors of wars” until Your return. So why am I stunned when someone wages war against me? Didn’t I believe You?

Left on my own I might turn a simple skirmish into doomsday. I kneel before You and ask that You equip me for this encounter. Amen.

“Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, to God who alone is wise, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen.” 1 Timothy 1:17

A worthy prayer. I am armoring up with you as I face the a few enemies today of my own…but mine are all from within and not without: pride, selfishness and self-pity. I’m dicing them up today, then getting on with my life of prayer and joy in Him! Pray it goes well for you, Patsy.

A great reading this morning, Patsy! Like Dawn St Amand Paoletta, I’m also facing enemies today from within and not without; my struggle to let go of hurtful things I can’t change, and people who distract me from my walk with God. “Lord give me strength and wisdom to overcome the grief of my past and protect me from those who try to deceive me with Satan’s lies. Help me keep my eyes fixed you YOU, Jesus, as I press onward and upward.” Thank you for your words of encouragement, Patsy! Have a blessed day!!
