Holy Helper…
Holy Helper, I’m in need of Your assistance. Today I’ll have to make many decisions. Life is risky, and that scares me. Yet I’m aware that You redeem our mistakes. Knowing that’s the case should take some of the threat out of my choices…yet I waiver.
Wouldn’t it be easier to send me a telegram? Then I wouldn’t bog down in the complication of my errors.
Is this unknown path part of faith? Is failure an important instructor? Is success my friend? Is humility birthed in mistakes or in obedience?
You who know and offer to guide my paths, I take Your hand. Amen.
The Lord says “I will make you wise and show you where to go. I will guide you and watch over you. Psalm 32:8
To Patsy~Am reading Stained Glass Hearts now~gift of a neighbor who went to the Sacramento fall 2011 Women of Faith. A chapter a night before I go to bed gives me the reality check for the day and an intellectual stirring for the eve~uplifting . Thanks for sharing so much of yourself. Just when I think I know your”MO” (which I love), you come up something like Stained Glass Hearts. Bless you for using your unique gifts in warming hearts and growing us in grace.
~Will pass the book on to my friend~we’re keeping a running inscription on the inside cover and moving it all over California! Marsha C from Bodega Bay/Rancho Murieta.
PS Once they get to know you, they’re sure to secure more of your writing material~that’s my theory.
