Day Brightener

Day BrightenerDay Brightener, I awakened at dawn as the morning sun dappled my pillow. Thank You for the reassurance You have pressed into creation that affirms Your presence and overriding care. Today is packed full of responsibility, but for now I bask in the quietness of these refreshing moments.

Later, when I am knee-deep in my day, may I stop and reflect long enough to allow Your calm to influence my frenetic schedule. My busyness can cause me to place more importance on achievements than relationships. Help me to balance my activities with a heart-felt interest in others. Light my way. Amen.

LORD, every morning you hear my voice. Every morning, I tell you what I need, and I wait for your answer. Psalm 5:3

I find it so terribly interesting that TN has no dust bunnies under their bed….what a praise. Lovely devotional again this morning. I’m leaving.

    Dear Pasty

My daughter and I just returned from the women of faith conference in Sacramento. I have to say I did enjoy the conference, but something terrible was missing. Patsy, Lucy, Marilyn, and Anita. So I decided to see for myself what was going on. I was very dissappointed when I read that Marilyn, and Lucy have retired to follow where God leads them. I have attended women of faith for 10 years now and can’t imagine another year without see you lovely women. Your humor and insight was always the best part of the conference. I was wondering what your furture plans might be? Will we be seeing you in California anymore. For you I pray that God will continue to bless you and your family for all your dedication to our heavenly Father. We love you and your teaching methods. God bless whatever it is He is calling you to do.
    Loving Sister in Christ
    God Bless
